When I'm bored I love watching the ammo price updates YouTube videos for all guns. Just started clay shooting before COVID. The good ol days of $23.00 wally world 100 packs and tons of ammo everywhere.

Today to my surprise my wally world was full of ammo. First time since the plague....

I haven't seen a price update feed in the forum so figured I'd start one..anyone seeing target ammo starting to fill up? Price check?

Prices are up, but at least there is ammo available, I was at the gun club today, they had a couple pallets of 12 Ga ammunition, and thousands of Cheddite primers, and 8 pounders of powder, lots of 22 LR.

cdb1097,

Yes the 2 3/4" shells are starting to show up most every place and by many different manufactures which is great, the prices suck compared to pre Covid and the 2 1/2" shells are still not available for us in any real quantity. I am shooting my American Classic and Best German double guns with 2 3/4" Chambers right now, and replacing the shells as soon as I use them. RST, Polywad, Fiocchi, Kent or Game Bore have no 16 or 20 gauge 2 1/2'' Shells available for sale at this time. I thought by this time production of 2 1/2" shells from these companies would have rebounded better than they have.

Walmart out east here in Pa, still has no shell inventory for sale.

all the best,

Pine Creek/Dave

I remember being upset when the 100 packs jumped to $15.88…
Yes
Been noticing much more ammo, and crazy prices. But they have seemed to went down slightly for 23’. LGS had flats under $100!
Just happen to be going on a treasure hunt today for 3” 20ga. for Turkey season. I’ll report back later

I was at Sportsman’s Warehouse last night here in CO. Had lots of 12 gauge, a few boxes of 28, I didn’t notice any 20, and they DIDN’T have any 410. Cheapest 12 ga I saw was the Winchester Valor for $10.99 A box.

My synopsis=
a whole lot of ammo at a holy ridiculous price.
Apparently 3” 20ga. is racist. And 2 3/4” Magnum Turkey 12 gauge is even more so.
Yeah sure it’s out there, BUT if we all bit the bullet and stick together, the fee’s would come down IMHO.
YMMV💡

Well step 1 is ammo in inventory and supply build up before we will see any price decreases. We need to continue to see step 1 proceed. Haha that's funny it wasn't stocked right. As a noobie to other gauges it looked offdtbit I couldn't put it together. Just seemed that they had limited space to squeeze it all in. Also it's half the size of other displays I have seen at Walmarts.
