Spray paint six birds lime green. Place them randomly in the stacks. If they are hit the shooter gets a free round. Paint one all white. If the shooter hits that, give a box of ammo, etc.
Lock the trap house door.

Protectors on a Skeet Field:
  • Take 5 objects (chunks of wood) and number them 1 - 5. Place them 15 feet behind stations 2 - 6 with #1 behind station 2 and so forth.

Then sign up 5 two man teams or get 10 guys to "pick pills" to form the teams. Line them up two to a "station".

The shooter on the left of the #1 team calls for a high house and shoots first. If he misses then his partner gets to pick it up. If neither hit it or if the second shooter fires after the first shooter broke it, then it's a lost target. This is repeated by the #2 team and so forth through #5 team. Then the shooter on the right of the #1 team calls for a low house and if he misses the other shooter on the team gets to pick it up, etc. with each team following in suit.

After each team has shot a high and low house, the teams rotate one station to the right with the #5 station team going to station #1, where the hi-lo process happens again with the #1 team (now on station 2) always starting things.

After each team has shot 10 birds (5 high, 5 low) the scores are added up and any shoot offs are from behind the center station from about 20-25 feet back.

Winners get 1/2 the money collected, the other half pays for the 50 targets (equal to 2 rounds of skeet). If 2 rounds cost the club $10 then charge each shooter $2 with the winning team splitting $10 on their $4 bet.
I've always preferred picking pills to get the teams so that newer shooters get to shoot with the old guys and a big thrill is being a D or E Class shooter and winning with a AAA partner who can catch your misses. It is also more fun when everyone is forced to use the .410  which was always a staple of Ohio's MIDWEST OPEN on Saturday night after the cook out.
