I've not had any issues with mine.
Make sure there's no gap between the weight system and your recoil pad. If there is, that may be the problem, as a gap will allow the weight system to slam backwards into the pad on the recoil of the shot, and that might be what's causing your locking collars to move. I filled that gap with a piece of inner tube that was just the right thickness.
