I am pretty new to shotgunning and would like to get into some of the clay games. A lot of the clubs I have seen seem to have a strong emphasis on competition shooting. That does look like fun to me, but I am looking for a lot of informal practice first.

I have taken the NRA first steps course and shoot at clays from a small thrower when I can... about twice a month.

Old post, but Tal/IL is correct. Was a shooting member there for a couple years when I worked in Joliet.
