I am thrilled by my new to me 1955 AyA double. I took her to Granville Gun Works in Creedmoor, North Carolina to have the 'smith open the chokes to light modified on both sides.

Gorgeous gun. As SuperXOne has written about extensively, the quality of this piece is truly outstanding. The wood, the metal, the ejectors, all fantastic.

Picked the gun up at a shop in Kittery, Maine this summer, for just over $500.

28" barrels. Single trigger.

I took her out and while I didn't see many doves, managed to take down three at pretty good distances. None came close. A tighter choke or heavier load might have worked better - but I had these choked light modified.
