Looking around the archieves of the forum concerning 682s and noticed some complain of "barrel slap". Can someone tell me what this is an d if it is common. Thanks

I think they are referring to the stock of the gun hitting their cheekbone hard, on recoil of the gun firing. Improper gun fit is what usually causes it.

I had a "barrel slap" incident last night! Shot my second round of skeet with a buddy's Citori rather than the little pump gun I've been using. Shooting a double at 6 when I attempted to pump the Citori and shot under the high house bird. Not what you were thinking, but I missed that bird because I slapped the barrel trying to schuck it! LOL
