I'm needing help again...I have a Maverick 88 SG. I am looking to install a fiber-optic front bead sight on it and I am finding several thread sizes to choose from. Which size do I need for the Maverick? I looked in the owners manual and found nada.

I've never messed with a Maverick so this is just a starting point.

RWH24 posted a bead size chart in the FAQ section that is really handy! He shows that all Mossberg's are 5/40 thread. Here is the linkage:

nice chart. The Mossberg I replaced the bead on was 5-40.
one thing that could be added on Ithaca,Model 37. Military and police are 4-40..
