I just got back from the store to look at a benelli SBE and saw the M1 field. the only difference I know of is the 3" vs 3 1/2". does anyone have the M1 field and if so what are your thoughts. please keep in mind I have no intentions of ever shooting 3 1/2"

A couple of guys in my hunting club have the M1 field, Both really like them, They seem to be a very rugged gun. One of the guys shoots everything from 00 buck shot to light speed loads for dove hunting and I have never heard him complain about it once.

wonderful gun. no complaints by me. other than when i bought it they gave me three modified chokes but it came with five.
