I have recently read up on the fit of a shotgun. I have discovered that my stock length is about 1 inch short. I would like to add a recoil pad spacer, but the one that already exists seems to fit exactly into the stock, and the spacers I have seen have two screw holes in them, so they wont really work for me. What do people do to lengthen the stock length on these Novas?
Your solution is fast, cheap and easy: you'll want a Slip-On by Pachmyar, size Large, color Black. I use one on a 12Ga Nova when I need to set up a large-framed guest shooter, and it works well when the extra LOP is needed.
