There's a thread somewhere here on SGW that shows a step by step example. If I can find it I'll post a link. I also know a gal who had her Xcel done and it came out great and I'll ask her when I see her...probably this Sun.

I bought one from a guy here on SGW that had it cerakoted black. It looks great. Just Google "cerakote" and you will see a bunch of listings for folks that do it. Hopefully you can find one close to make it easier.

Hey you bought it blue right? So what's wrong with a blue gun?
Not everyone wants a gun that looks like a smurf peed on it.
I got that, what I didn't get was that it was blue and someone bought it. So pay premium for a blue gun, then add on the expense of changing the color. Of course you get a different colored A400, but that seems over the top and it's still an A400. Oh well. Maybe someday Beretta will offer the A400 in different colors?

Love my Smurf gun just the way it is!

My daughters Smurf Gun is now Barney Purple thanks to Bill Skinner. He does a complete action & trigger job as part of the package. He even reanodized her Cole bolt closure to match ! If you look closely you can see that the bolt has been polished as well. Awesome work. DL
