I bought this a few weeks back and really am enjoying it. It fits me well and shoots smooth. It has 28" barrels and came with all 5 chokes.

From my research, I have determined that it was built in 2002. Other than that, there is minimal information on this model.

Any one on here care to enlighten me as to where it falls in line with the Silver Pigeon III of the same timeframe? Is it simply a blued version of the III?

I put some pictures up to give some visual references to those that enjoy fine shotguns.

I appreciate your answer.

Where there not many of them brought in? I only found two in a search where they sold. I searched the threads here and couldn't find any good reference to them.

Doesn't look like Beretta has many blued over-unders in that nice of a grade

I have a Grade V in 28 ga and it’s case hardened, with gold inlays. I had Coles put on some nice wood On it.
Some resellers (eg. Cole's) will strip the receiver and do a true bone charcoal finish, but the standard Grade V Silver Pigeon is chemically colored/not case hardened with bone in a crucible.
