I've shot three different brands of slugs through my A300 Patrol. I'm not consistent with it past 50yds to feel comfortable hunting with it but that's mostly because the factory sights aren't precise enough for me. I know the gun is capable because I've shot some tight groups, just not all the time. I think if it added an optic my groups would tighten up quite a bit.
The most accurate I've tried so far have been fiocchi defense dynamics 1oz low recoil but they barely cycle the gun
Hornady American Gunner 1oz low recoil are nice shooting but weren't consistent.
Federal 1oz full power foster slugs gave me the best results.
I was just using the improved cylinder choke the gun came with.
