I am trying to find out the value of a year old Beretta White Wing with a 28" barrel in a 12 gauge. This gun has never been shot. Can anyone give me any info on the WHITE WING---does Beretta still make that gun??
It should be worth about a grand. It is basically a 686 and is very similiar to the White Onyx. These guns are no longer available in the States. The only negative I've ever heard about the gun is that it is a little light for a steady diet of clay shooting. If you're not recoil sensitive and /or shoot light loads this shouldn't be a problem. If you can get your hands on a NIB Whitewing I would grab it. You will not regret it.
Once in a while you can still buy them at Dick's. They are closing the model out for Beretta here in the states at $899.00
Excellent guns, I have two and I shoot them well for everything. They are basically a 686 at an excellent price.
I have a Whitewing in 20 that's my go to upland gun. I do agree that it's a bit light for a steady diet of heavy loads and/or lots of clay shooting. I'd stay at the $900 and less range.
Blaster7;a few quick questions about the Limbsaver. Did you use one of the pre-sized Limsavers or a grind to fit? If pre-sized, which number was it. And, does it make a significant difference on a gun as light as the Whitewing? Regards, quadcab
As a matter a fact i stll got the box. # 10702 pre fit. It fits just like Beretta would have put it on there themslves. And I would buy it again at 2X the price. It helped out alot, on hot lodes, and on the ligter lodes, you would feal alot better after 100Rd day.
