We're travelling to LA for the 2017 World Police & Fire Games in August (taking place at Triple B). Can anyone recommend the best place to buy shells in the area? Thank you.

You could buy them online and have them shipped to my house. I would bring them to you at TBC when you are there. Depending on how many. I have room for about eight cases that I can dedicate in the garage.

With new CA rules on ammo, a background check thru Sacramento may be required, as I am uncertain on all the new regs on ammo purchases. Might include an anal probe from Sacramento.
