I posted this in the Waterfowl hunting section, but I thought I'd probably get more responses here.
So I already have a few 12 gauge shotguns, and I'd like to stick with a 12 for my waterfowl hunting. I'm looking for recommendations for a pump. I'm looking at a pump mostly because of the price and I already have a semi(no good for steel shot) and a couple old side by sides(don't really want to run steel through them) and would like something different. I'm pretty much just hunting duck and goose. It would be an obvious plus if the gun had interchangeable choke tubes so I could have friends use it for small game or even if I feel like using it in for small game. The internet seems to say tons of different things, and everyone says something different in their review and articles. I also don't really have any opportunity to shoot any of the guns before I buy them. So far, in terms of new guns, I've been looking at the Benelli Supernova, Remington 870, 887, Winchester SXP and Browning BPS. The Browning and Benelli are a bit over my price range, but if I can get one on a deal or used, I'd definitely be interested. I'm also open to suggestions or warnings about specific models. Used guns aren't very easy to find aroudn where I live, so giving me a specific model from 20 years ago will be very hit or miss.
