Im a first time gun buyer. I think have a good deal on my hands but I need some input. I have found 870 black synthetic super mag. with the 26' barrel for $219.00. Is this a good deal and is there anything negative about this gun that I need to know about.

Sounds like a good price on a good starter gun. I have the exact same thing, but paid quite a bit more. Been a great gun, flawless so far. You should also know that Remington is currently offering a $50 mail in rebate on super mags, thus. You should be able to download the coupon from their web site: www.remington.com.
