I bought mine lightly used- but found out it came with a barrel that was not firing consistently (not disclosed by seller- would not fire 1 in 50 shots or so) . Had Blaser work on it at an event. Said the tolerances were too tight. The work they did there didn’t fix the issue. Called Blaser and they paid to ship it both ways to do the work again. (They have great customer service)

This time the repair worked and I have never had an issue since. I was putting 100 or so rounds a week through it - love the gun. Now with two kids and one on the way I am lucky if I get out twice a year- but when I do I bring the f-16.

Blaser USA sent me an email that there is a new F16 for Sporting, designed by Corey Kruse. Looked good in the add. I have 2 F3's and have been looking for the release of a 20 gauge F16. I have handled and shot the F16 in 12 gauge and I thought it to be excellent.

I very much like mine, Bought it used so I have no idea of the volume that was put through it and unfortunately I have not added as much as I would like. But all that said, it is my go too sporting gun!

I had a 30" F16 Field gun. It handled great and shot extremely well. I liked it better than any field gun I've ever owned. It was in my opinion near the perfect field shotgun for me. Except, it was extremely sensitive to ammo and would consistently misfire most ammunition, including anything from Fiocchi, anything European, anything from estate and a few others. It was consistent with AAs and most Winchester ammo and if I remember correctly, some of the Remington ammo. I can't remember how it did with Federal other than it did misfire Estate. I called Blaser and their gunsmith's advice was to only use ammunition that consistently fired in the gun, which didn't sit well with me given the price point of the gun.

I told a friend who was a big fan of Blaser products about my problem with the gun, and he said he didn't think there was an issue and wanted to make a trade for gun. I asked him about it a few months later and he told me he wasn't having any problems. Eventually, he traded my F16 for an identical F16 with nicer wood. The last time I remember shooting with him, he was shooting the second F16 and it was misfiring exactly like the first one.

If they've worked the misfiring problem out, they are incredible guns.

I probably put 2-3,000 rounds through mine. The only issues I had were the misfiring and the wood finish wore REALLY quickly. I would've fixed the finish and kept it if it wasn't for the misfiring issue.

Looked and tried one and very nice. But the dealer I went to rolled back the trade in offer on my Guerini, not due to condition, just that they don't sell well second hand. So why agree a price before I go there then, so walked.

Looking on line and found an Ultra XS Pro exquisite 2 which had the hand grip like the Prosport which I favour, which I didn't realise Browning was doing. Phone call to dealer, exchange agreed and went and got it.

Bit more than the first one but well pleased with it too.

Blaser Texas gets stuck on issues. I've gone to outside Blaser warranty gunsmith and took care of my issue. Misfires should be able to correct. Blasers are easy to take firing pins out and clean, along with the channel they set in. May need stronger springs, etc.

If I remember correctly, I called Blaser in San Antonio. If they've worked out those issues, I would love to have another one. Though, last I checked, they are more expensive than what I paid a few years ago.

The misfiring issue was fixed a few years ago when the factory issued an update for the trigger/hammer group. They're good to go, and we've found the Kory Kruse F16 Pro Series to be quite popular.

As for durability, they are very robust. If properly serviced and cared-for, they will last somewhere around a half-million rounds as per my contacts at Blaser USA.
