The misfiring issue was fixed a few years ago when the factory issued an update for the trigger/hammer group. They're good to go, and we've found the Kory Kruse F16 Pro Series to be quite popular.
As for durability, they are very robust. If properly serviced and cared-for, they will last somewhere around a half-million rounds as per my contacts at Blaser USA.
