Last minute after shooting my CZ Woodcock today I decided to buy this. Just felt so good. Fit so well. Wasn’t planning on it. Loved the CZ. Only complaint was it was a bit light. Messing around in the store after my second 50 of sporting clays today and randomly grabbed this. Man the BR110 sporting x just shouldered great. Balance is great too. Going to shoot some cosmic clays to test it later this week

Keep me posted. I am interested in the new BR 110 IPS as a retirement gift to myself.
I will drive to Cole Guns in Naples to check one out this Summer.

100rds through it today. 50 sporting clays and 50 cosmic clay 5 stand. So far pretty happy with it. Wish individual chokes were available though. I’d like a second IC or a SKT.

This weekend I’ll add another 200 in a tournament. 25 skeet. 25 trap. 25 5-stand. 25 FITASC. 100 sporting clays.

I am thinking of getting one of these so would be interested in any comments you have about the gun.

Call Briley. They may have pattern or you can send one of your chokes to them and they will make whatever you would like. Not cheap, but very easy and fairly quick.

You can call Rizzini USA and order individual choke tubes at least I did for my BR110 Sporter 20 ga. They were pretty good about it. Worth a call.

In your case you will need the XL 12 ga. chokes. Don't believe Briley has those in production yet. But you can have them make you whatever you need. If you do I suggest you bore match them and ask for exact constriction. That is what I did for my Rizzini Competition 16. Pair of .012 and .018. Figured I wouldn't be shooting much skeet with it so didn't get a set of .005. If it was a 12 would have gone pairs of .005 and .015 and maybe a pair of .020.


Pretty sure it is against the law to get extended Briley chokes with spectrum bands for a SxS LOL so for my target 16 SxS had Briley make flush chokes for it. Bore matched of course.

If I get another 12 the IPS is first up on my list.

Balance is great. Fit and finish is too. I currently can’t foresee any regrets with this gun. The adjustable comb should help with any fitment issues, if you have them.

Trulock has them and Mandel Chokes in the UK has them. I have ordered from both.

Does your gun take the XL chokes? Trulock only shows the old style and plus style. His takes the XL series. There are 3 types for the B. Rizzini guns and the XL is only 12 ga. and only in a few target models. They are overbored bbls.

Briley does make the XL as a production choke now and offer all 3 B. Rizzini types.

yes, it is the XL style choke. It's not the end of the world, but I like to run two of the same choke IC/IC typically for where I shoot. The 5 stand cosmic clays I shot last night, I probably could have ran the cylinder/IC actually. Most shots were pretty close to aid in the black lighting.

Yes, I know I run a multi choke gun and using two of the same erases that advantage. I don’t want to get caught up in “which barrel first/what choke for what shot” rabbit hole. Most SC courses where I’m at IC works 98% of the time. I don’t shoot 98/100 yet, so a choke change isn’t going to help me. Lol

I don't change chokes (often) and shoot pairs of chokes in the same constriction as well. Less to think about and when shooting if you think you stink. Just see the bird shoot bird. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :cool:

Couple of decades ago used to worry about which choke to use on each station and switch them out then figure out which bbl. to use on each bird. Now for most courses I screw in a pair of LM (.015 in the 12) and go to work. If the course is setup with big boy targets Mod. In both barrels. You're doing it right IMO (y)

Good to know. I’m a fan of LM, but a vast majority of target presentations I see are 15-30yds. So I stick with IC. The rarity I change choke is to a IM when there’s a 40-45yd target.

Mine take the Plus and the Standard. Mandel Chokes may have them, they are in the UK. I ordered from them and they were here in Colorado in less than 2 weeks for 7 dollars shipping.

Another 200 rounds of tournament play today. Shot a 92/100 on the sporting clay field. Easily my best score to date.

BR110 28/32 first shoot today
Switched to sub gauge because of a concussion. Gun swings and shoots beautifully.

How would you compare the BR110 to your Citori CX (fit/finish/quality/etc...)?

The BR110 is now on my short list of o/u's.
(I'm considering CZ/FAIR/B. Rizzini/Browning)

I can pick up a Citori CX White for basically the same price as the BR110, but the BR110 has more features (namely an adjustable stock)

Cole's is now an authorized service center for B. Rizzini, so that's kinda' pushing me in that direction...

I called Cole's and was told that they just sell the Rizzini's and don't service them. Was I told wrong?

Well shoot.... I'd hoped I wasn't mistaken, so I just now called Cole's Florida service department.
They confirmed that they ARE a factory authorized service center for B. Rizzini.

I called the store in Maine, maybe they don't but seems they would have told me to call Florida. This was only about two weeks ago. Good to know Florida Cole's works on them. Thanks
