I want to buy a tube set for my 686 but it seems everyone tells me to not to. I should at least jump up to a 682 Gold. I spent so much into fitting the 686, lengthening the forcing cones, porting, etc.. I don't want to get rid of it. If I'm happy with the gun why would I have to upgrade to put the Briley tubes in? Does anyone know the difference in the barrels?

You don''t need to buy another gun. Get tubes for your 686. Have these naysayers try to explain why you need a 682. That would be interesting.
