i have a 16 ***** browning, says made in belgium on the barrel, and #s on the reciever x10765 its in really good condition, how can i tell if its a sweet 16, this was handed down to me from my great uncle. i would appreciate any help.

It's a 1947 vintage. The Sweet Sixteen would have the name stamped on the side. and unless it's been replaced would have a gold trigger

put A-5 in the search engine at the top of the page and you'll find several threads giving the value of a Standard A-5.
