For me, the Browning Auto 5, 12 gauge, is the right shotgun. Once it'sproperly set up for the load you're using, it's perfectly reliableand it's a fine gun in every respect. It's the Rolls Royce of semiautoshotguns.CJ

I think CJ is right. Man, it´s such a great shotgun. Has every thing you need. It´s reliable, it´s fast and good looking. It´s the best of the best.
Can't argue, I have two of them. Can't imagine not shooting them, but I do need to get a new barrel for the 12 ***** so I can shoot steel through it... Mike RossThe Cartridge Guyswww.cartridgeguys.web1000.comLife Member, NAHCMember, National Rifle AssociationMember, Meeker Co. Historical Society
I just picked one up for $275 at the gunshop.Do you guys use yours for Trap?
You can use yours for trap, I have a few times myself. Mine however has a huge vented poly-choke and that kinda takes your sight off the clay. Assuming you have at least a mod. choked barrel I see no reason not to shoot a few rounds with it. 8o They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759.
Mine is a beauty for trap: 32" barrel, full choke. No rib though :( Mike RossThe Cartridge Guyswww.cartridgeguys.web1000.comLife Member, NAHCMember, National Rifle AssociationMember, Meeker Co. Historical Society

My friend won this gun about 15 years ago and he is wondering just how much his gun would be worth today. Snap on told him this was a limited addition when won it. It is a 12 gauge Browning shotgun A500R it has a gold trigger, ribed barrell, barrell number 9382,Ser # 751NZ19382, If you can help me on how to find the value of the gun please e-mail me at [email protected]
