A nice A5 20ga Lightweight with a vent rib is worth well $500. You said "lots of engraving". If the gun is above a grade one, you should jump on it.
Starting at $500:
If it has a plain barrel, subtract about $100.
If it has an aftermarket choke,subtract about $200.
The barrel legnth can effect the value,too. For example a 28" Skeet barrel can add about $200.
