I was in Gander Mountain today looking for a new choke tube wrench when I noticed the Browning branded choke tube packages now have a Briley logo on them as well. Along with the statement "Made exclusively for Browning by Briley."
Also, the package states that the tubes are compatible with all modern non-toxic loads. The only warning is on the back and states that Extra-Full turkey chokes are not to be used with steel. That means Invector-Plus full chokes are now rated for use with steel.
When did this change happen?
I am guessing the switch to using Briley as a choke maker is new and with that change came the approval of steel shot in their full chokes.
