A friend just a bought a browning 20 ga. 26" straight(english) stock o/u. The guy that sold it to him, told him it was a Superposed and it was a 1983???? The wife brought it home to show me, and it looks like a superlight and has blued sides and says... "special steel" on the barrell. Also it says citori on the bottom of the receiver. I didn't think this would be a Superposed? Can you guys tell me what the special steel citori is? Thanks for your help! Jim

According to the serial no# and the browning web site it is a Citori 20 ga. 3" Gr.1 Hunting 1980 model w/straight english stock and schnable forend. I would like to know who told the seller it was a Superposed or would like to know has there ever been a Superposed built with Citori engraved on it. Does the Superposed guns say Superposed on them somewhere, I have only ever seen one before up close and it just said Browning 20 ga. and the owner told me it was a Superposed, back then I was like okay whatever that is???
