In visiting local gun shops. I found a 1993 Special Sporting Clays new in the box. It is a pigeon grade, 28" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, high rib, fixed comb model.

I am currently shooting trap with sporting clays thrown in here and there with my duck gun.

I am ready to purchase a gun that would be more suited to shooting sports and am wondering if this would be a good choice?

It is a great gun. You can compare it to any of the available 425 series Brownings. If you don't want it. I know someone who is looking for a 28" barreled high rib Special Sporting Clays.

I would say handle it, if you like it buy it. If you don't e-mail me, and I will pass on the location to a fellow shooter who is looking for one.
