I have a Browning Superposed with 28" F/M barrel that I picked up after Vietnam. When steel shot was mandated, I put it in the safe except for upland birds. Now I would like to add a 26" M/I barrel or with chokes and am having trouble finding one. Am I better off just buying another gun? I am told that Browning wants the price of a gun just to add a barrel. Any ideas?

it's your call, but if it were me i'd buy another gun that uses invector chokes, keep the superposed intact. Besides the superposed were all hand fitted, and to try, and match a barrel would be very expensive.

Is it a Superposed or a Citori? Is it a 12 gauge? A filed grade?

I think in any case buying another gun is the most cost efficient way to go.
