I am a relatively new skeet shooter but it's now time to buy a legitimate skeet gun. I am down to either Beretta or Browning. I am a long time Browning owner of several of their hunting guns and also own an expensive Beretta 20GA field O/U that I have been currently using to shoot skeet with (it's way too light for skeet so it doesn't swing well, but it looks really nice). The Browning XS Pro Comp looks appealing but I cannot find a dealer locally with one in stock so I can shoulder it to see how it fits. The Beretta 682 Gold E Skeet looks like a nice gun as well for comparable money but I am having an equally difficult time locating a dealer with one of those in stock as well. Does anyone have either one of these guns or has an opinion on them? Thanks.

Until which time you put both in your hands you won't know. Between the current Browning production and the Beretta 682E, I'd take the Beretta but only because they suit me better. The 682E is a fabulous gun and the one I'd own if I couldn't afford a Perazzi.

Put both to your shoulder, pick the one that feels right for you.
