I'm buying a Stoeger 2000 and I really liked the way the gun felt but I didn't care for the little white bead up front. I like the looks of the tru-glo and the hi-viz sights. My question is does anybody know if the Stoeger front sight is threaded or is it basically a press fit? One more question. If it is a press fit and I don't want to go to the trouble of having it drilled and tapped, does anybody here know if the sights that adhere magnetically work very good. I don't want a sight that's going to make me worry if it will still be there when I'm done hunting. Or worse yet, coming off while I'm hunting. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

The mags are real strong you would have screw up pretty bad to knock one off.
I have the Hi-Vis magnetic that comes with four differant dia. and colored pipes.Nice unit slippes over the exsisting bead no mod. to the gun.

You'll like it!!!!

Hey Scott231 i appreciate the response. I'll probably go that route since i really don't want to modify a new gun if i can keep from it. I also like the idea of being able to change out the color of the tubes. Thanks again!
