What is the value of the gun listed below (assuming it is in good condition)? These are all the details I know at this point.

Charles Daley 12 Ga Over and Under Trap Gun 35 years old (Japan Made)

Thanks.

I would say $550 to $600. However there were several grade levels. These are quality guns made by B. C Miroko, the maker of the Browning Citori. I have owned several Miroko guns for more than 30 years with no problems.

I got to look at the gun today. The stock is marked up a little. It has real checkering and real engraving. It opens extremely easy (may be a little loose), but it seems pretty tight when she's shut. The barrels were marked "X" and "XX-". I assume these are some sort of codes to indicate choke type. Does anyone know what they mean? Any info/opinions would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about the choke markings, but for an older 12 ga (before backboring became common) try this test...

Get a nice, new dime (not one that's worn down) and try to fit it edgewise into the muzzle:
won't go=full
just fits=mod
pretty loose= imp cyl
use a nickel instead=skeet
