i have, for spite gone back to the sts rem primer, but i like the FRENCH cheddite primer, and when i get over it i will go back to them. i shoot o/u's, and cheddites rule in these guns. i have not noticed a size difference as far as not being able to use other primers once cheddites are used. cheddites may be interchanged with w-w 209 info. i have probably used nearly 200k cheddites, and have had 100% success with them, in all four tournament guages.

that is why i like 7k-8k psi loads. for my needs, it does not matter about swapping out stuff. i find the highest pressure load, and know i can swap. for a full throttle screamer, you need to recipe the load exactly. another reason i load light in large ga., recipe in small ga. the differences in shotshell components is maddening.
