I have aquired 2000 CIL 12 gauge Skeet and Trap paper hulls. They have been sitting in an attic for the last 30 plus years and are in great shape. Any info on what wads I could use? I am thinking loading the same as a Federal Paper? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While I'm familiar with the particular hull, whether I would load it as I would a Fed paper would depend on what sort of internal base-wad it has. Is it a low base-wad hull, like the Fed paper, or a high base-wad hull. If high, it would take a completely different load than a Fed paper.

I am not sure if this will help but at one time I used to reload the blue plastic C.I.L. hulls which had the wound cardboard internal base wad with 30 grains of Win.540(HS-6), Win.209 primer and the WAA12F114 wad and 1-1/4 ozs of #5's, because of the 1" high brass these were easy to distinguish from your trap loads.
