Sounds like you are trapping the trigger, you must release the trigger after the shot or the inertiablock will not set the second trigger. Are you wearing gloves? If I wear gloves it happens to me a lot. Are you shooting extremely light loads? That can cause a problem similar to yours, except I don't think it will fire on the second pull. If you have the adjustable trigger, you can move it back towards you one notch.Climbhard said:

That's exactly what it sounds like. I used to do this fairly often when I was shooting a Browning regularly. They have a relatively long trigger pull, and as a result, there's a tendency not to release it all the way before trying to pull again.
If there was something mechanically wrong, it would usually do it more than 1/100 times.

I've actually considered that, that its me. Switching from an Auto to the O/U I didn't have this problem at first...I was aware of it and I was careful. Now I am more comfortable and less watchful.
