About 1 in every 100 rounds at the clays course I get a misfire on the second barrel. I pull the trigger on the first target, bang, pull the trigger on the second target, NOTHING, shock disbelief.... pull it again, BANG. Thoughts? Time to clean the action or a larger problem?

Sounds like you are trapping the trigger, you must release the trigger after the shot or the inertiablock will not set the second trigger. Are you wearing gloves? If I wear gloves it happens to me a lot. Are you shooting extremely light loads? That can cause a problem similar to yours, except I don't think it will fire on the second pull. If you have the adjustable trigger, you can move it back towards you one notch.
