OK, got the used Cynergy and have a couple of questions.
First, this is a early model. Could not find listing for Cynergy on Browning site, but using the Citori serial number ID charts , it was made in 2004. Serial # 01971 MW .....which figures, since that is the year Cynergy was intorduced.
The owner was not available, but or how do I find out about the recall on early models?

This gun only came with two INV Plus choke tubes. But owner bought 5 Briley extended tubes, 2 skt, one Light Mod, one Mod and one IC. This will cover all my shooting needs.

What else do I need to know about this gun, before paying the man? Will shoot it again this afternoon, and hopefully have only good things to report.

This is the "Cynergy Convert" gun, $1500. Hope it's worth it?

Call Browning customer service and give them the serial number. They can tell you if it has been serviced. The phone number is on their website. I don't know what you mean by Cynergy convert model. Do you mean adjustable comb?

I to have never heard of a Cynergy convert model. Maybe the model that they fixed the safety switch?

One of the guys on the skeet league team I shoot with uses a Cynergy for skeet league shooting. Recently, for reasons unknown, the fore end of the stock on this gun developed a crack.?.. The crack looks pretty significant and appears to be about 2 inches in length. He seems to think 'something was loose' in that area of the gun to have caused the crack, with the addition of recoil. He took this gun duck hunting recently, also, so perhaps some stout loads might have played a part .? . Hard to say what the real reason was.
