I am interested in increasing the L.O.P on my cynergy. The manual says all models are fit from the factory with the standard pad.The browning website shows (small, medium, and large).

Any Shotgunworld member out there that can tell me which one is Standard please let me know. :?

I'd give Browning a call on this one. Gotta remember, not only the size difference, but the pads for the composite stock and wood stock are different.

Plus, I heard there was a bunch of pads returned by Browning because they were to hard..they are probably out there selling cheap...somewhere...

The medium pad comes with the gun and you can buy spacers to lengthen the pull if needed. Yes, Browning changed the pad, and the newr guns have the softer rubber. If you sent the gun in for the recall, they gave you the new pad. It's also true that the composite stock pads are different from the wood pads.

I called Browning again on Monday to see if the long pad was available. It's not yet. They are still having problems with the pads being too soft or too hard. They told me to call back in 60 days. I guess I will just add a couple more spacers for now.

hey guys. what i was told by browning when i sent my gun back was that people were griping that the factory butt pad was to sticky it grabbed thier clothes when trying to shoot low gun. i asked them to leave mine alone of course they didnt listen. they took the old pads they had and put a coating on them to make them slicker only problem is the coating comes off in white flakes alot like clear peeling off of a car. wish i had my old one back. plus any of you guys know where to purchase the longer pads at? ive looked everywhere. thanks

I bought two short pads for my composite and wood stocked cynergy`s. Both of them had the peel problem. I called customer service and they sent me new ones. Seems some of the first pads were not correct.

Just an update...

I ordered my long recoil pad last march. And i kept getting told well next month, next month.. I forgot about it and just stopped buy the gun shop every few months to check he would call Browning and they would say next month... I finely got a call 2 or 3 weeks ago saying my long recoil pad is in. So that means that they are out there now.. but who knows if and how long you may have to wait.
