CZ Redhead 20 gauge Length of Pull too short

Brownells and Midway sell all the recoil pads and spacers you'll ever need, but don't expect to find pre-fit pads and spacers for your CZ Redhead. What I do to fit a LOP for a customer is use cardboard and masking tape to add length to the gun until the length of pull gives a knuckle to nose distance of 1" to 1 1/2" and feels good to the shooter when mounting the gun. That is the desired LOP and I'll attain that dimension by using a grind to fit pad and appropriate spacer epoxied to the pad before grinding to fit. If pitch changes are required because of the shooter's build, tapered spacers are available to facilitate those changes. This vintage A H Fox 16 ga required a tapered space and a 1" Pachmayer SC-100 pad to fit properly without cutting the stock.
