Are all Model 37's "DeerSlayers"? OR do they have to be 12ga. 37's? OR are they rifled bbl's? OR is there a Model 37 "Deer Slayer" AND a "Featherlight" and etc... Please clarify...thanks.

I think all 37's are Featherlights,Deerslayers come in 20,16,and 12,with smoothbore or rifled depending on date of manufacture.

There's also the Deerslayer II, which is a fully-rifled barrel that is screwed into the reciever. Being built like a pump-action rifle, it is damn near as accurate as a pump-action rifle. It is, arguably, the most accurate repeating slug gun ever on the market.
