I am cleaning and fixing the above shotgun in a Model 1905 which is stamped on the side of the hammer plate. It has exterior hammers with "Twist Belgium" stamped on the rib. Looking down the barrell after much brushing, it is easy to see that it is a Belgium Twist. It also has "Choke Bored" on the barrel. Common sense tells me it is manufactured in 1905 or afterward but you can't always go by that. I know that it was distributed by Shapleigh Hardware. Any ideas about where it was manufactured and when?
