No sir, that's a private duck club across the street from some public land we train at. I'm out in the Pacific flyway, so though it seems like a lot of birds, it's nothing like the light geese migration through the Midwest.
I do follow a versatile training regiment for him (NAVHDA) and he has gone out on a duck search and found a number of wounded birds for me the last 2 season though (usually I dispatch them, and freeze em' for training later that year). I find it funny when folks tell me that shorthairs shouldn't swim when they were originally bred to do so, and the only thing that will keep my dude out of the water is me during the colder months.
