:?: a friend of mine. who's husband pasted. was left in need. so want to help out. so want to give what the rifle is worth. was the deseased. by american gun co. new york 16 gauge double barrel. forgot to ask if it was a bouble trigger. under the wooden piece , that is located under the barrel. which are by the way side by side. the numbers i found are 155035 engraved on a piece of metal and below the metal engraved [printed] into the wood is what looks like L5503b. oops also on gun is i think knickerbocker or is it knickerbecker/ did not measure the barrel. didn't think about it.

The American Gun Co. was a trade name , the gun was made by the Crescent Arms Co for an unknown retailer , possibly H.D.Folsom.
I'd give her $250 which would be an average value for it .
