Dove line ideas

Tuesday I was able to take some easy shots due to extra time spent on my dove blind. In addition I setup a line in the field in the hope that the dove would try to land on it. This did work as several slowed down. My question is does anyone have suggestions for rigging a line? "Duh, sure Jay get two tall sticks and some wire....". I have a Subaru, so tall sticks wouldn't work. Plus with the red clay in alabama it's tough to get them to stake in the ground. Any ideas on something more compact?

When I get the money I'm buying a couple of these for a dove line. Be sure to to put some dekes on the line for the best results.
