Kevin,
Just wanted to give a "thanks" back to you. I now have a couple thousand of your wads on the way from Recobs and plan on buying several thousand more. Thanks for taking the time to send out freebies for us to try.

Take care and have a great holiday season!
Kevin,

Requested samples of the DRRT-12 earlier and they have not arrived. Can I get in on this batch?

Thanks
Request them on the other thread just bumped up.

Kevin;

Aside from the upcoming 16 gage wad do you have any other new wads in the works that you can tell (or hint) about?

I really appreciate the sample giveaways. As I use up my old stock I have been replacing with Downrange wads.

Thx
Well we have a line of steel wads for hunting in 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch, 3 1/2 and 10 gauge.

We also are starting to work on a line of Econo Wads.

We will starting this with a wad in the Remington Fig. 8 style.

This will be made with a different plastic to keep the cost down and the shooters shooting.

Thanks

I received my samples. Many thanks. I will give you some feed back on how they reload after I return from Christmas holiday. You and your company make a great product. We appreciate it. I'm lucky to have a retailer/distributor nearby at Dawson Enterprises. Makes getting your wads much easier. Really looking forward to your 16 ga. wad. Russ

Kevin,

Looks like the only free samples I'll be requesting in '08 are the 16 and the econo wad.

I have been shooting one ounce in 12 gage for sporting clays for years now. Given the high cost ol lead I was thinking of switching to 7/8 ounce and the XXL Pink wad.

May I be so bold as to suggest that an econo wad for use with 7/8 or 1 ounce in the Remington STS type hull be a high priority?

thx clayflingythingy
Kevin,
Econo wads usually mean a lower grade of plastic. Lower grades of plastic usuallu mean excessive plastic fouling in the forcing cones and choke tubes.

This difference is why your wads are so far superior to the Claybusters. Far less plastic fouling.

So if "Econo wads" will also have the heavy fouling characteristics of your competitor, I will certainly opt for the wads now in production. In my opinion, a quality wad is as important as any other component in the load.

I would ask another question. What brings this "Econo Wad" to the table?? Is this in preparation for a big price increase in the existing wad line, or just a marketing alternative??

Inquiring minds want to know.
