Stock dimensions.

Drop at heel - distance below line of sight at the back end of the stock

Drop at comb - distance below line of sight at the front of the stock

Cast (cast on, cast off) "bending" the stock to the right or left for right-handed or left-handed shooters, allowing the dominant eye to fall squarely behind the barrel.

Pitch - the angle of the buttpad relative to the axis of the barrels.

You will find those and more shotgun definitions on the "Sticky" near the top titled, "(Hopefully) useful shotgun definitions".
texastea02 - Next, pay a visit to Rollin's web site and treat yourself to a copy of his book, "Stock Fitting Secrets." It is a real eye-opener for the new shooter, as well as for anyone who has had plenty of experience shooting but never had a gun that really fit them - http://stockfitting.com/ Oswald's book tells you how, and once you do you will never go back.

Another great resource is Bob Brister's excellent book "Shotgunning: The Art and the Science."

Thank you, Sidelock. Your kind words about the book are appreciated.
