Easyloader for Police/tactical use

Just purchased a Rem 1100 Tactical for an upcoming front sight class. I have another 1187 that has the DMW easyloader installled... its a wonderful thing.

My question is this... is the DMW easyloader appropriate for Police/Tactical work, or should I stick with the Remington 1100 competition master style gate release? What do you fellas think?

I say use it all it does is replace the little button with a big one with a ramp to crank the shells in faster. If it was one of the tube loaders that hand way down and use the speed tubes then no but the button just makes it easier to load and close the bolt if it hangs up faster
The Easyloader is prone to hooking gear. I still prefer it, but this is something to keep in mind.
Good luck with that it would be nice if some one came out with a speed loader that is "fit for combat use" that would be a great thing.

That's the truth. I'd think that an Easyloader without the curve would be nearly ideal.
I have DMW easyloaders on both my Remington 11-87P and 1100 Tact4. I had my gunsmith shorten and radius them so they do not extend below the action. They work just as well as full lenght and do not catch on things.
Ironhorsegun, would you show us pictures? I'd love to see.
