I have a single shot Excel shotgun in need of forearm. It belonged to my grandfather. Where can I find parts? Who made the Excel Shotgun?

Do you have the original forearm?

I hope this helps I found the below link and text doing a web search.

Your Excel is most likely an Iver Johnson product sold by Montgomery Ward from around 1910 until (whenever they stopped selling guns) probably around 1968. If it is a sidelock with outside hammers, it may be a bit older and made by Crescent or imported from Belgium for H&D Folsom of New York. Value for most old (and even new) single shots seems to be about $75-$80, but a 410 could bring twice that from the "right" buyer.
