Hi guys. First post.
Is there much difference between the fabarm velocity models and the hunting models for someone that will be shooting sporting clays? I guess what I'm asking is if the sporting model is tougher or more rubust than the hunting configuration?
Thanks Rob.

I think the main difference between the sporting target guns and the hunting guns is the chamber dimension (2.75" vs. 3.0") and the gas piston (stainless steel vs polymer pulse piston). The gas system in the hunting hunting models is designed to handle the heavier 2.75 and 3.0 hunting loads.

Other than that, I would expect the reliability and endurance of the sporting and hunting Fabarm models to be equally first rate. I've probably put 10,000 to 12,000 rounds through my XLR5 AR target gun with no problems. It is a joy to shoot and looks great also.
