Watching the weather last night, it was reported that my area has experienced the 3rd warmest period to date in recorded weather history since 1880 from the start of winter last month . And, we are likely to move up from 3rd. This has provided an unusual and rare opportunity to go shooting with pleasant weather in January not to mention the terrific hunting conditions. Today I am to meet the boys at the skeet range in west central Missouri where the weather is forecast as sunny, light wind, and mid 50s. It just doesn't get much better than that this time of the year. Outside of a possible wet system this coming Friday and Saturday, the trend is for more warmer than normal weather. How has it been where you live?
