My father was the head of product planning / development for Winchester early 60's
I have a model 101 that was a pre production model and the very first model 101 in 20ga made by kondenja Japan.
I am trying to find some input as to value .
You will need a lot more than just good quality pictures, you will need some solid proof - in writing - that the gun is the first 101, as you claim it is. Without that, the value is the same as a standard production run 101.
Even with documentation, I don't think there is that big of a collectors market for 101s, so my guess is there really wouldn't be much premium if any. Chris Showler would be the guy to ask, he's the 101 guru from what I can gather.
