I would guess it's more likely F&S is going to go away completely. Most of them were sold to Sportsmans Warehouse years ago, probably just cleaning up and shutting down the vestigial stores, maybe as their leases run out.
The closest Dicks to me no longer has ANYTHING related to guns and ammo, not even a single piece of camo clothing or knife to be found.
F&S no longer even has guns or ammo on their website. Not much of a "Field" store without guns and ammo.
